International Programs
For International Students
Toyo Eiwa University welcomes exchange students from universities
all over the world with which student exchange agreements have
been concluded. The length of study is for one or two semesters,
either starting in April or September. Tuition for exchange
students at Toyo Eiwa is remitted. Our exchange student program
is summarized below:

Choice of Classes and Subjects
In addition to Japanese language classes, exchange students are
able to take almost any subject offered at Toyo Eiwa University,
including small group seminars and classes taught in English
about Japan.
Housing
The Center for International Programs provides assistance in
arranging accommodation at student dormitories and apartments
close to the University.
Scholarship for Living Expenses
Toyo Eiwa University offers a scholarship program for accepted
exchange students. Scholarship recipients receive 50,000 yen
monthly during their period of enrollment. Exchange students are
screened for scholarship eligibility after their enrollment has
been approved.
Cultural Activities and Social Events
The Center for International Programs organizes various cultural
activities and social events throughout the year to provide
international students with the opportunities to experience
traditional Japanese culture and to socialize with Japanese
students. Examples of past events are: welcome party for exchange
students; watching a sumo wrestling tournament; and lessons in
tea ceremony and Japanese flower arrangement.
Student Support System
All international students will have an academic advisor with
whom they can consult. They also have a student “buddy” who
helps them with life in Japan and on campus. Finally, the staff
at the Center for International Programs will support foreign
students with various University procedures and any other issues.
For Toyo Eiwa Students
Toyo Eiwa University has established various overseas study programs with the objective of nurturing women who can actively contribute to the international community.
