I would like to talk about my favorite activities on Prince Edward Island. Anne of Green Gables is very popular on PEI because its author, L.M. Montgomery, was born on PEI. Anne of Green Gables is called 'Akageno Anne' in Japanese. We visited a model house of Anne of Green Gables. It was so pretty and it was in harmony with the beautiful view of nature. The house had many rooms, but each room was simple. I felt the warmth and comfort of the house. The house had a model of Anne's room. I thought it was so cute and it looked as if Anne still lived there.
I walked on the path near the house. It was a little cool. I arrived at a little river before long. The river water was so clear and I could see the fish. The sun shone on the path, so it was so beautiful.
I was amazed at the house of course, but I was interested that many French speakers visited there too. I learnt that the French language was very common in Canada while I stayed there. For example, all the food packages have both English and French explanations. I thought it was interesting.
We also joined Camp Seggie, and taught children how to make 'origami'. They were very interested in origami, so I was very happy. We climbed a rock wall, so we had a lot of fun.
On the last day in Canada, we had a farewell party. We ate hamburgers, hotdogs, and many fruits with our host families. It was so fantastic. We also put on 'yukata' and sang our school song and 'Ashitaga arusa'. Finally we talked with each host family and finished the last activity in Canada.
We could have many experiences on PEI. We visited Anne of Green Gables house, taught children how to make 'origami' and joined Camp Seggie. We met many people on PEI and we could improve our English and learn Canadian history. We had a great time on PEI. I want to go back to PEI sometime.

私はプリンスエドワード島(ＰＥＩ)で一番楽しかったことについて話したいと思います。「赤毛のアン」の著者モンゴメリーが生まれたことでＰＥＩは有名ですが、アンが住んだグリーンゲイブルスGreen Gablesのモデルとなった家を訪問することが出来ました。まるでアンが今もそこに住んでいるかのようなかわいらしい部屋を見ることが出来ました。グリーンゲイブルスの横の小道を歩いていくと、小さな川にたどり着きました。川の水は透き通っていて、小道には太陽の光がふり注いで輝き、とても綺麗でした。
またカナダにはフランス語を母語とする方が多いことにも驚きました。教会学校のキャンプにも参加しました。そこで子どもたちに折り紙の折り方を教えました。子どもたちが折り紙に興味を示してくれ嬉しかったです。ロッククライミングも体験しました。ＰＥＩそしてカナダ滞在最後の日、ホストファミリーを招いて皆で送別会をしました。私たちは浴衣を着て校歌や「明日があるさ」を披露しました。
ＰＥＩでは多くの体験をすることができました。多くの方に出会い、英語を磨き、またカナダの歴史について知識を深めることが出来ました。またいつかＰＥＩに戻ってきたいです。
